From what we have seen the prices on what they consider appraised value can range from county to county. We have seen their appraised value as low as 10% of the market value up to 50%. Sometimes on low dollar lots (under $10,00 value) they will offer them starting at $500-$1000 dollars. It can be worth it on some of these properties to pay a higher amount like 15%-35% of market value if it’s a good enough property.
